The signEdje-8 high definition and standard definition media player and network appliance, from Adtec Digital, is a perfect solution for HD plasma and LCD digital signage and kiosk applications. 

The signEdje-8 features MPEG-2 and AVC/H.264 high definition and standard definition media playback from its 8GB solid-state CF storage and IP stream decoding. Whatever your source, it automatically scales the content to match your monitor's capabilities up to a stunning 1080p high definition display. The signEdje includes a built-in web interface and scheduler that can play a list of files and loop indefinitely or be triggered from external control systems from the parallel or serial ports. 

Any number of signEdje players can be easily networked together for reliable, frame-accurate, multi-channel synchronised playback of HD digital media. The perfect solution for demanding professional AV applications such as stereo 3D and multiple projector displays.

The signEdje-8 is just 145mm wide, 267mm deep, 32mm tall and weighs 1.8Kg (4lb). Its compact size makes it easy to conceal behind a LCD or plasma display using the optional signSleeve VESA compatible mount.

Usage
