Use the DVI-E102 transmitter and tranceiver from Databay to extend DVI-D digital display information from a PC or Mac over CAT5/5e/6 UTP cable to remote digital displays such as plasma and LCD screens and projectors. Transmitter and transceiver units are daisy-chained together to provide an almost unlimited capacity since the digital signals are reconstructed at each DVI-D drop-point thereby retaining the original display's full resolution and quality without noise and image degredation. A distance of up to 80m. between each drop-point is easily achieved depending on display resolution and UTP or FTP cable type and quality used.
The DVI-E102 transmitter and receiver are simple to install and require no set-up and only minimum or no adjustment. The system is designed for use with dedicated CATx UTP or FTP cabling. It will not work on a pre-existing 10, 100 or 1000Mbps data network with data switches, hubs, routers, etc. For best results FTP (foil twisted pair) cable with a skew rate <15ns/100m. is recommended. RJ-45 terminations must be made to the EIA-586B standard as detailed in the user manual.

DVI-E102T Transmitter enables the DVI-D digital display output from a PC or Mac to be transmitted over CAT5/5e/6 UTP cable to the DVI-E102TR Transceiver at up to 80m. distance. Includes a local DVI-D connection.

Receives and decodes DVI-D signals from the DVI-E102T Transmitter or another DVI-E102TR Transceiver at the following resolutions and distances:
800 x 600 @ up to 80m.
1024 x 768 @ up to 50m.
1280 x 1024 @ up to 40m.
1920 x 1200 @ up to 30m.
Input: RJ-45
Outputs: RJ-45, DVI-D single-link female
Equalization control.
Power consumption: 5VDC, 650mA
