The simple, LOW COST solution for professional AV applications.
Developed for systems integrators and OEMs.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The DV-66B Digital Media Player provides multi-format AV playback on a single printed circuit board, specifically designed for the digital signage, retail, leisure, museum and kiosk markets. The DV-66B can be easily integrated into any display which has sufficient room for the small PCB and can provide a 12V, 0.4A DC supply. The DV-66B can store and playback full-motion video and audio MPEG-2, MPEG-1, JPEG, and MP3 format files from high speed Ultra-II CompactFlash® memory cards or MicroDrive® with DVD quality AV outputs.
The DV-66B Digital Media Player is simplicity itself to set-up and use with no complicated user interface or cryptic control functions. Users can easily create custom player scripts by simply using a PC or laptop with a standard CF card reader to drag and drop files to the CF memory card. Slip the CF card into the DV-66B, connect to the display screen and audio system, apply the 12-volt power and that's it - it plays! It couldn't be simpler.

Content Programming is so simple and straightforward:
The DV-66B Digital Media Player utilizes a 3-digit numbering system that is easy to set up using your PC’s file manager. If you want to use the Repeat (playlist) mode for continuous track playback then name your multimedia files starting with 001, then 002 and so forth up to track 099. The DV-66B will then play the files in numerical order, continuously and without pause.
In the Menu (select) mode use track #000 as the “attract” file, then track numbers 001, 002, and so forth up to track number 099 can be set up for immediate playback when a selection has been made from an input device such as a touch screen or push button key-pad. When the selected track has played the system reverts to playing track #000.
Use your PC's file manager to simply drag and drop compatible files from your PC to the CompactFlash in the Card Reader. The DV-66B is compatible with MPEG-2, MPEG-1, MP3, and JPEG file formats. While the DV-66B will play almost any order and mix of specified file formats it is recommended that all files have the same format for smooth playback and transitions. i.e. All files should be MPEG-2 or MPEG-1 or JPEG or MP3.
When playing JPEG files a still image will be displayed for approx. 5 seconds with a 2 second top-to-bottom transition wipe. Display periods can be extended in 5 second increments by simply copying and repeating the same JPEG file. When playing MP3 audio files the video will be blank with an ident in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
After transferring your multimedia files to the CF card, remove the card, insert into the player and your DV-66B Digital Media Player is ready to play.
