The Gemini family of HD and SD MPEG-2 decoder
cards from Visual Circuits takes professional video production to greater
levels of effectiveness - and pushes the typical boundaries of standard
decoder cards. Gemini is the only universal media decoder card, allowing
development professionals the flexibility to design-in features to meet
and exceed most digital media integration requirements. This dynamic duo
capability of 32-bit accelerated graphics and simultaneous high definition
video allows full integration of multiple digital media elements in one
visual display. Windows drivers are included along with a complete C programming
library with sample source code and function calls. The Gemini decoder
cards offer a backwards compatible API to ease integration with existing
applications already developed for other Visual Circuits' cards.

MPEG Encoding
A standard definition (SD) PAL and NTSC MPEG-1 and PAL, NTSC
and High Definition (HD) MPEG-2 encoding service is also provided to our
customers. Original media can be in AVI or MOV file formats and Betacam,
DigiBeta, D5 or HDCam professional tape formats.
