The Harmony 4ES is the latest generation, professional MPEG-2 playback circuit board from
Visual Circuits. Featuring four independent output channels of component,
RGB (sync on green), s-video or composite video, and Dolby Digital audio,
the Harmony 4ES is ideal for demanding, industrial and professional multimedia
applications. The high-quality, 256-colour on-screen display allows for
graphics or text information to be overlaid on the video with varying
levels of transparency. And Harmony's composite, genlocked AV input allows
seamless switching between MPEG and "live" video. Windows drivers are
available along with an extensive C or Visual Basic programming library.
Sample source code with function calls is provided to accelerate development
of advanced digital video playback applications.
Up to 4 cards can be installed in a system
and up to 16 independent channels of MPEG-2 video can be synchronised
for frame-accurate playback.

The ACC-3002 Universal Cable attaches to the Harmony 4ES decoder card via a 25-pin male D sub connector, secured by two set-screws which attach to the decoder card's mounting bracket. The 0.5m cable provides 4 sets of Composite, S-video, RGB, and YUV video outputs on BNC female connectors and 4 sets of stereo audio on female phono sockets.  |

The ACC-2000 Rackmount Breakout Box distributes the video and audio signals of the Harmony 4ES decoder card. This 1U 19" rackmount breakout box serves the same purpose as the Universal Cable, supplying 4 sets Composite, S-video, RGB or YUV video with stereo audio outputs and is connected to the decoder card via a twisted ribbon cable and 25-pin male D adapter. |

MPEG Encoding
A standard definition (SD) PAL and NTSC MPEG-1 and PAL, NTSC
and High Definition (HD) MPEG-2 encoding service is also provided to our
customers. Original media can be in AVI or MOV file formats and Betacam,
DigiBeta, D5 or HDCam professional tape formats.
