The Artbeats Digital Film Library provides broadcast quality, royalty-free digital stock footage on DVDs or CD-ROMs in QuickTime format for a very reasonable price. This allows you to create your own library and physically keep it right where you work. No more research delays! The footage is sourced from film, almost always 35mm, or HD-CAM, and there are between 15 and 45 clips in each collection. Standard definition (SD) titles are available in native D1 PAL and high definition (HD) titles are all full resolution 1920 x 1080.

Each Artbeats collection covers a single category allowing you to pick just the right clip for the job. You can use this footage in virtually any Windows, MacOS, or SGI based digital video editor, compositer or 3D program with only minor adaptation. Many applications will accept the Artbeats QuickTime clips straight from the DVD/CD-ROM. Some applications may require a conversion to a sequence of individual Targa files, which is easily accomplished using the fast Windows based Artbeats QuickTime to Targa Conversion Utility that is included with every title. V-Line titles are sourced from DV cameras and systems and are NTSC only. However V-Line clips can be used in PAL editing systems with conversion and scaling functions and will give good results.
